It includes a 32,000 square foot ballroom, a pre-function ballroom, an exhibition hall, and 26 meeting spaces. The new, three-level convention center more than triples the size of the resort’s former meeting space. Whiting Turner completed the construction work at a cost of $330 million. The project broke ground in June 2018 but had multiple delays due in part to the COVID-19 pandemic, ultimately taking more than three and a half years to finish. This expansion has significantly enhanced the resort’s meeting and convention capability while allowing it to take on the increased number of guests.
